The 30g Silver Investment Chinese Panda (2022) is a globally recognised bullion coin, issued by the People’s Bank of China and struck in 999.9 fine silver. Unlike most bullion coins, the Panda series uses a unique 30g weight standard instead of 1 troy ounce.
Containing 30.00 grams of pure silver, the reverse features two playful panda cubs in a snowy setting, symbolising joy and growth. This 2022 edition also includes a special “40” privy mark, commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Panda coin series.
The obverse displays the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, along with Chinese inscriptions and the year of issue. With a face value of 10 Yuan, the coin holds legal tender status and is backed by the Chinese government.
