The 2024 1/10 oz Gold Australian Kangaroo is a fractional bullion coin issued by The Perth Mint, struck in 24-carat pure gold. It continues the long-running Kangaroo series, known for its annually changing designs, high purity, and strong global recognition.
Obverse Design: Features the effigy of King Charles III by Dan Thorne, marking the first appearance of the new monarch on this series.
Reverse Design: Depicts a kangaroo leaping across a dry creek bed with a windmill and water tank in the background, symbolising the Australian outback landscape.
This 2024 issue includes a special “P125” mintmark celebrating The Perth Mint’s 125th anniversary and has a limited mintage of 200,000 coins. It is sealed in a protective acrylic capsule, making it suitable for both investment and collection.
